In 1997 the phenomenon of the nWo was really hot that everybody wanted to be part of it. Enter NBA player Dennis Rodman. Eric Bischoff and Hollywood Hgan announced live on WCW's Monday Nitro that "The Worm" Dennis Rodman Had Joined the nWo.

Several fans thought it was just a publicity stunt that was being pulled by Bischoff. That is until Rodman showed up with Hogan before the main event at WCW Uncensored. At the event Rodman wore the classic nWo Shirt and attacked Lex Luger.

Rodman (with Hogan) headlined the Bash At the Beach pay per view event two years in a row. Although Rodman's in-ring-performances were not too impressive, his attitude did fit the nWo.

-Helped Hollywood Hogan defeat Lex Luger at WCW's Uncensored (March 1997).

-With Hollywood Hogan wrestled Lex Luger and The Giant at the 1997 Bash At The Beach Pay Per View.

-Attacked Diamond Dallas Page on Wcw Monday Nitro (June 1998).

-With Hollywood Hogan defeated Diamond Dallas Page & Karl Malone at the 1998 Bash At The Beach Pay Per View.
